Terms of Service

Last updated: September 26, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the sloprail website at sloprail.com (the "Site") and the sloprail software (the "Software"), provided by A10N, Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business as "sloprail" ("sloprail", "we", "us"). "sloprail" is a trade name; its registration is in progress. By using the Site or the Software, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use them.

The Software

sloprail is open-source software, licensed under the MIT License. The MIT License — not these Terms — governs your right to use, copy, modify, and distribute the Software's source code. Where the two conflict on matters of code licensing, the MIT License controls.

sloprail runs locally, as a plugin inside a coding agent harness on your own machine. We don't host, operate, or have access to your installation. You are responsible for how you configure and use it, including any model provider credentials or API keys you supply to it.

The Site

The Site is a static marketing and documentation site. It doesn't offer user accounts, logins, or paid products today. If that changes, we'll update these Terms accordingly.

You may not use the Site to distribute malware, scrape it abusively, attempt to breach its security, or otherwise use it unlawfully or in a way that disrupts it for other users.

Content and trademarks

Site content (text, design, graphics) is owned by A10N, Inc. or its licensors, except where it is itself part of the open-source Software and covered by the MIT License. "sloprail" and related marks belong to A10N, Inc.; the MIT License covering the code does not grant trademark rights.

No warranty

The Site and the Software are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

What sloprail does not guarantee

You run sloprail yourself, on your own machines. It reduces the chance that your coding agent makes certain mistakes, but it does not guarantee that every problem is caught, that your code is correct or secure, or that every rule fires in every setup. It does not replace code review, testing, or your own judgment: you are responsible for what your agent does, whether or not sloprail flagged it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, A10N, Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or the Software.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Site or Software after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect, and the unenforceable provision will be read to best reflect its original intent. These Terms, together with the MIT License (for the Software) and our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and A10N, Inc. regarding the Site and the Software.
